Here's another good trick.

Takeoff Matz style:
1. Write your will and testament.
2. Make sure you're on the runway.
3. Lower flaps and crank the throttle to max.
4. When you reach takeoff speed pull the stick as hard as you can towards you.
5. Forget you're carrying over 1000 kilos of bombs, stall and die.

Just managed take off and landing online and get some ground targets destroyed in between. First online mission in a plane for a long time. Feels strange not to be able to pull a vampiric embrace to keep myself alive while fighting

took a second or two to digest the expression vampiric embrace, but then it hit me ... "must be some kind of MMORPG expression"....

No there are no dwarfs, night elfs, mages or shamans in il2 ... but considering the development of games these days, where simulations are dwindeling, it wouldn't surprise me if they do end up in a WoWIL2 mod some day *harkel*

My theory is that the expression is more like he pulls and hugs the flighstick in turn and burn so hard that he gets a ryggskott or something.
(Too much flying LOMAC)

first year playing WoW i said alot of "on our six" and "bandits - 9 o'clock". It changed after a while to "oom", "heal ffs", "tank ffs", "watch your aggro"... vampiric embrace translated to IL2 is like getting your on kite repaired every time you damage a designated target. wouldn't be to bad a feature eyh - not historically correct - but fun
